COMMISSIONING WORK

My artwork is created to glorify God and to point hearts toward the truth, hope, and beauty found in Jesus Christ. Through each drawing/painting, I seek to visually express the timeless message of Scripture, capturing moments of faith, redemption, worship, and God's presence in our everyday lives. My work is created for believers who desire meaningful, Christ-centered art that encourages their faith, as well as for those who may be searching for hope and are drawn to the gospel through visual storytelling. It is my prayer that every piece serves as more than decoration—that it becomes a reminder of God's love, a source of encouragement, and an invitation to reflect on His eternal promises.

The Six Stages of the Commission Process

1. The Concept

Every commission begins with an idea. During this stage, we'll discuss your vision, including the subject, size, color palette, style, and any personal details you'd like incorporated into the artwork. Reference photos, inspiration images, and a brief description of what you're looking for are all helpful. This conversation ensures we're aligned before any work begins and lays the foundation for a piece that's uniquely yours.

2. Creating a Mockup

Once we've established the concept, I'll create a preliminary mockup or sketch that outlines the overall composition and design. This is your opportunity to review the layout, suggest adjustments, and make sure the direction matches your expectations. Taking the time to refine the mockup helps ensure the finished artwork accurately reflects your vision before production begins.

3. Placing a Deposit to Reserve Your Spot

After the mockup has been approved, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place on my commission schedule. Because I accept a limited number of commissions at a time, your deposit secures your project and allows me to dedicate time and materials to its creation. Once the deposit is received, your commission is officially confirmed.

4. Placement in the Queue

With your commission confirmed, it is added to my production queue. Commissions are generally completed in the order deposits are received, although timelines may vary depending on the complexity and size of each project. I'll keep you informed of your progress and let you know when your artwork moves into the active creation stage.

5. Creation, Packaging, and Preparation

When your commission reaches the front of the queue, I'll complete the artwork with careful attention to detail and craftsmanship. After a final quality check, the finished piece is professionally packaged using protective materials to ensure it arrives safely. Every effort is made to protect the artwork during transit so it reaches you in excellent condition.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Once your artwork is securely packaged, it will be shipped using a reliable carrier. You'll receive tracking information so you can follow its journey from my studio to your door. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but I'll provide updates along the way. When your commission arrives, you'll have a one-of-a-kind piece created specifically for you to enjoy for years to come.
